Programs
Are you ready to meet the national target? There are existing programs available that help guide through the process of reducing antipsychotic use and adopting alternative behavioural approaches in LTC. See how you can get started:
National Program
Healthcare Excellence Canada's Sparking Change in AUA program supports the appropriate use of antipsychotics in long-term care homes across Canada by promoting non-pharmacological approaches and person-centred care. Participating teams gain access to quality improvement tools, coaching, peer support and financial award opportunities to help tackle concerns related to the appropriate use of antipsychotics, improve person-centred care, and plan for long-term success and sustainability.
