Delusions and Dementia in LTC: Appropriate Use of Antipsychotics

22 Oct 2026

12:00pm ET - 1:15pm ET

Join the Appropriate Use Coalition on October 22 from 12:00–1:15 p.m. ET to learn more about the data quality check required to certify long-term care homes that have reached the national target for potentially inappropriate antipsychotic use.

In this session, we will explore delusion, dementia and antipsychotic use; the interRAI assessment tool; and the data quality check. Whether your home is working toward recognition, did not pass the data quality check, or simply wants to strengthen assessment and coding practices, this session will provide practical insights into recognizing and documenting delusion, understanding the interRAI assessment process, and improving the quality of data used to measure antipsychotic use.
